Water pump selection guide

How to Choose the Right Water Pump for Your Premises

The right pump depends on your premises, not on the highest price.

Signs your premises may need a water pump

  1. Weak or slow shower
  2. Water trickles into the washing machine
  3. Pressure drops when two taps run together
  4. Inconsistent water flow
  5. Very low pressure upstairs
  6. Flow weaker than it used to be

What to send for an HP recommendation

  • Photos of the pump area, tank and existing pipes
  • Your property's location
  • Type of premises — home, shop or business
  • The flow problem you're having
We suggest a brand and HP after seeing your photos. We don't guess a pump size without looking at the premises.

Water pump FAQ

Water Pump Questions, Answered

My kampung house has a tank on a steel stand. Can a pump be added?

We can assess it. The pump is usually connected to the tank's outlet so water reaches the house with more pressure. Send photos of the stand, pipes and nearest power point, and we will suggest an HP and price.

How many photos do you need?

Three to five photos are usually enough: the tank, its outlet pipe, the space for the pump and the power point. Include your location in Pontian. If anything is unclear, we will ask for another photo.

How much is a water pump including installation?

Current prices for each brand and HP size are listed in the catalogue and comparison table on this page. Each one is supply + install for a single pump, and the final price for your premises is confirmed on WhatsApp.

What does the water pump price include?

Pump supply, installation, basic wiring, and pressure and function testing. Pipe modification, extra wiring and removing an old pump are quoted separately.

I bought my own pump. Will you fit it?

Yes. The installation-only price is listed in the catalogue above and covers installation, basic wiring, testing and commissioning. The quote for your premises is confirmed on WhatsApp.

How do I know which HP water pump I need?

Send photos of your pump area, tank and pipes plus your location on WhatsApp. We suggest a brand and HP after seeing them.

Is a water pump suitable for a shop or commercial premises?

We take enquiries for shops and small businesses. Commercial installation cost depends on the setup and is confirmed after we see photos.

My old pump is acting up. Do you take service jobs?

Send photos or a video of the pump on WhatsApp. Repairs have no fixed price — we quote after seeing the problem.

Do you have water pump brands other than Tsunami and Grundfos?

This catalogue lists Tsunami and Grundfos only. For other brands, ask us on WhatsApp.

Which areas can you install a water pump in?

Enquiries are welcome from every state in Malaysia. The installation schedule and any extra charges for your area are confirmed on WhatsApp.
